Groupings
At Sports School, we aim to make every child feel happy, safe, and included. Whenever possible, children are placed with friends of a similar age, and if that isn’t possible, our friendly group leaders will work with your child on the first morning to help them feel settled.
For larger age differences, children are grouped by age so activities remain safe, enjoyable, and suited to everyone’s abilities. We encourage kindness, respect, and support, helping every child make friends, build confidence, and have a wonderful week.
We welcome children from 5 to 14 years (Age 4 Wellcome at the Newcastle High School for Girls venue), with caring staffing ratios of 1:15 under 8s and 1:30 over 8s.
