How much?
Our clubs range from £80-£130 per week or £30 per day. Price is for one child only.
Wrap around care cost is £9.00 per day.
How old?
Aged 5yrs-14 years
How long?
Sports School holiday clubs run in 4–5 day blocks, depending on bank holidays. Single-day bookings are available, but we encourage parents to choose more than one day so children can fully enjoy and benefit from the programme.
Our main session runs from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Wraparound care is also available, with early drop-off from 8:30am–10:00am and late pick-up from 4:00pm–5:25pm.
What to bring?
- Packed lunch and health snacks / no NUTS please
- Large refillable water bottle
- Trainers
- Appropriate sports clothing
- Warm long sleeved top
- Coat if the weather is cold
- SUN CREAM (named & please apply on your child before drop off)
- SUN HAT
- Hand sanitiser (named small bottle)
- Medication: In a named sealed bag containing instructions & handed to staff. This information should have been included in the medication box when you completed your booking.
- Additional information: During the application process there is a box to complete that you should have included any additional information about your child that my assist our team and also enable your child to have the best possible experience with us.
- Spare pair of pants, socks and trouser for the little ones (just incase).
What not to bring?

- Expensive items
- Nuts
Mobile phones:
Children shouldn’t use mobile phones during Sports School. If an older child needs to bring one for their journey home, that’s absolutely fine — we just ask that it’s handed to a staff member on arrival. Phones are kept safely and returned at the end of the day.

Passwords:
When you book online, you’ll be asked to create a collection password. Please save it on your phone and show it to the staff member when collecting your child each day.
Venue access:
Jesmond Park Academy: Via the Jesmond Park West Entrance at the back of the school NOT The school main entrance.
Newcastle High School for Girls: Via the Tankerville Terrace entrance.
John Spence Community High School: Please park in the main car park which is off Preston Road, then follow our flags down to the sports hall.
Groupings
Children at Sports School can usually be placed in the same group as their friends if they’re a similar age. If overlapping age ranges mean this isn’t possible, just chat to the group leader on the first morning and we’ll do our best to help.
When there’s a big age difference, we generally recommend keeping children in their own age groups so activities stay safe, suitable, and enjoyable for everyone. We also encourage respectful behaviour to help make the week fun for all.
Sports School welcomes children from Reception (age 5) to 14, with staffing ratios of 1:15 for under-8s and 1:30 for over-8s.
